MODERN SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNOLOGICAL CAPABILITIES IN THE FIELD OF DEFENSE

In the realities of the present, the global economic system remains a competitive field of interaction of national economic complexes of mastered technological processes. An influential geo-economic actor are the multinational corporations, which from the second half of the twentieth century have become the main source of innovations in ensuring the transformation of the state defense-industrial complex. The defense industry policy, as part of the policy of ensuring national security, depends on the scientific and technological capabilities of the state. While developed world powers are at the stage of transition from the fifth to the sixth technological order, the economy of Ukraine, its defense and armed forces, with a few exceptions, operate within the fourth order. Russia's aggression in the Donbass has revealed the real level of equipment of the armed forces of Ukraine in confrontation with the Russian land forces, which are at the stage of reequipment of weapons and military equipment to the fifth technological order in accordance with the provisions of the current State Program of Arms of the Russian Federation.
