SOCIO-POLITICAL ORIENTATIONS OF VLADIMIR VERNADSKY
The article reveals some little-known socio-political orientations of the great naturalist, philosopher and thinker Vladimir Vernadsky, characterizing the multidimensionality of his extraordinary personality. Recently, the monograph of the author of the article V.M. Danylenko “V.I. Vernadsky. The Expanse of Life and Thought” was published by “Akademperiodyka”, in which the biography of a famous scientist is prepared on the basis of his works, diaries, letters, previously unavailable documents and materials, and is presented in the context of complex and controversial socio-political processes of that era.
