URANIUM MINERAL RESOURCES OF UKRAINE: GEOCHEMISTRY OF URANIUM AND HISTORY OF THE MINERAL RESOURCE BASE

Abstract:
The brief data on the geochemistry of uranium, the main uranium forming minerals and the processes accompanying uranium in nature are presented. The history of the discovery of deposits and the creation of the mineral resource base of uranium in Ukraine are analyzed.
