The report highlights the most important results obtained by the scientists of the NAS of Ukraine within the framework of the implementation of the targeted comprehensive program of fundamental research of NAS of Ukraine “Fundamental Problems of Creation of New Nanomaterials and Nanotechnologies” for 2015-2019. Taking into account the prospects of research and development in this direction, it is proposed to establish the fundamental research program of NAS of Ukraine “Perspective Fundamental Research and Innovative Development of Nanomaterials and Nanotechnologies for the Needs of Industry, Healthcare and Agriculture” for 2020-2024.
