HISTORY AND PRESENT OF INSTITUTE OF PHYSICS OF THE NATIONAL ACADEMY OF SCIENCES OF UKRAINE
To the 90^th anniversary of Institute

January 2019 marks the 90 years since the founding of a leading scientific institution of physical profile — the Institute of Physics of NAS of Ukraine. The article highlights key milestones in the history of the establishment and development of the Institute. The main emphasis is made on a retrospective analysis of the importance of influencing the decision to create a scientific institution in Ukraine for the further development of Ukrainian natural science and education, as well as its significance for our country today.
