The report covers a wide range of issues related to the history of formation and the current state of the collection of Ancient Egypt, which is stored in the Odessa Archaeological Museum of the NAS of Ukraine. It is the largest in Ukraine collection of antiquities of one of the most influential states of the Ancient World, which has left a deep mark in the history of world civilization. The contribution of the museum staff to the development of the Ukrainian school of egyptology and the replenishment with original materials of the source base of egyptological studies is noted.
