WORLD EXPERIENCE USE OF GEOTHERMAL ENERGY AND PROSPECTS OF ITS DEVELOPMENT IN UKRAINE

Abstract:
Analysis results of the world’s supply of geothermal waters for the production of heat and electricity are presented. The schemes for the production and use of electricity and heat from geothermal water are presented. Data on reserves of geothermal waters in various regions of Ukraine and at various depths is published. Promising areas are highlighted. The advantages and disadvantages of using geothermal energy in Ukraine are analyzed. The list of activities for the development of geothermal energy in the country is defined.
