SPACE AND OCEAN: WHICH IS NEARER?

The article presents the main results of researching the circumterrestrial space, other planets of the Solar system, their satellites, and asteroids. It is shown that these celestial bodies contain significant mineral resources. In the future, more attention will be paid to development of new technologies for using the near space, control of the circumterrestrial space, defense from asteroids and meteorites, exploration of planets of the Solar system, their satellites and asteroids, study of the structure of the Universe, distant stars and exoplanets. It will require more raw materials needed both for the space industry development and world economy functioning. Considering the expected in the XXI century shortage of the prospected resources mined in the Earth’s interior, it is proposed to aim efforts at exploring mineral ore resources on the ocean floor. Recommendations for promoting activities in this field are given.
Keywords: circumterrestrial space, exploration of resources on celestial bodies, reserves of mineral ores on the ocean floor.

Language of article: ukrainian
