About the visit of Nobel Laureate Roald Hoffmann to Ukraine

Abstract:
In late September this year Lviv, Ukraine was visited by the Nobel Laureate in Chemistry, Professor Roald Hoffmann of the Cornell University. A native of Ukraine, an outstanding scientist, poet, playwright and philosopher, on the occasion of awarding him the title of Doctor Honoris Causa of Lviv University he gave an open lecture "Protochemistries are a Bridge" during which he dwelled on how chemistry combines the past and the present and how far the scientific thought can reach.
