August 25, 2020 marks the 80th anniversary of the famous Ukrainian scholar in the field of literature, famous critic, public and political figure, winner of the State Prize of Ukraine in Science and Technology (2014), Taras Shevchenko National Prize of Ukraine (1992), the Franko Prize of the NAS of Ukraine (2004), Academician-Secretary of the Department of Literature, Language and Art Criticism of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (since 2009), Director of the T.G. Shevchenko Institute of Literature of the NAS of Ukraine (since 1991), Doctor of Philology (1982), Professor (1990), Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (1992) M.H. Zhulinsky.
