40 YEARS OF CHINA'S POLICY OF REFORM AND OPENNESS
Last year People's Republic of China marked the 40th anniversary of the implementation of the Policy of Reform and Openness - a strategy of gradual and systematic development that has transformed the backward overpopulated third world country into a superpower with the second largest economy. October 22, 2018 at the Great Conference Hall of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, the Institute of Oriental Studies, the Ukrainian Association of Sinologists and the Institute of Economics of the Academy of Social Sciences of the People's Republic of China held a round table entitled “40 years of China's policy of reform and openness.” We offer the readers of the journal “Herald of NAS of Ukraine” to familiarize with several materials of this international forum.
