MODERN CHANGES OF CLIMATIC CHARACTERISTICS OF THE HEATING PERIOD ON THE EXAMPLE OF KYIV AND IDENTIFICATION OF POSSIBLE TRENDS IN THE FUTURE
Abstract:
The dynamics of climatic characteristics of the heating period in Kyiv for 1900–2013 with the use of meteorological supervision data is considered. As a result of the statistical calculations and the analysis, it is revealed, that during the considered period the sums of negative temperatures of the heating seasons decrease, reduction of duration of the heating period for the same time is observed. On the whole, modern warming of climate promotes reduction of expenses of municipal services on heating of rooms during the cold period of year.
